About the Artist

 My name is Michelle Dugan. I am a self taught artist living in
New Jersey. I have always enjoyed art and being creative since
childhood. I remember always drawing, coloring, painting and
creating crafts & tiny treasures for my Mother.
After high school, I pursued a career in the health insurance
industry. My coworkers would always tell me, “Michelle, you are in
the WRONG field...you need to create!”
It was not until right before the birth of my son in 1996 when I
discovered the creative side of me that needed to be unleashed! I
had so much fun decorating and painting my son’s nursery, that I
started to offer my services to some of my friends and family. By
the time my daughter arrived in 1998, I was truly enjoying the
rewards of creating! My hand-painted Mural business in New Jersey
took off from there.
I am always creating new designs for my original canvas wall art
hangings and for kid’s room décor. I will take any “suggestions” you
may have for me to help in creating the ultimate wall art or wall
mural design to compliment your child’s existing décor. (Example:
Fairy wall art to resemble your child, with their hair and eye
color. Or perhaps your child has a favorite pet...I can create
whimsical wall art to resemble your pet.)
